I can play Half-Life Alyx without dropping frames (depending on the situation anyway) or ever encountering any technical issues. I’ve also tried Virtual Desktop, but Flight Simulator straight up refused to go in VR mode through that, not entirely sure if I was doing anything wrong there.

Official word is play at least HL2 (iirc if they said anything about Episode 1). That's about the timeframe where HL Alyx plays. I’ve never played Half Life 1 but have played everything from 2 onwards. Most of Alyx does work on its own as a game without needing to know too much about the previous games.

HL:A worked for me in the past but after starting it (and updating to WIN 11) the menu ist missing after starting the app. I can hear in the background that the Valve intro plays and it should appear but I don't see anything.
